In 2011 the Knoxville Horror Film Fest introduced its own sick twist on the timed filmmaking competition, giving teams six hours and sixty-six minutes to produce a fake grindhouse-style movie trailer from a ridiculous genre chosen draft-style at the competition's opening ceremony.

For safety's sake we'll be doing things a little different this year, extending the production period to two weeks (9/17-10/1) and rolling in an option to produce a classic drive-in commercial instead of the usual trailer. The resulting entries will be interspersed throughout KHFF 2020's Saturday night program at Maryville's Parkway Drive-In, featuring a triple feature of Return Of The Living Dead, Demons and Grizzly II: Revenge along with a selection of touring short films.
